Human oversight

Human first. Human last.
No automated safeguarding, clinical or culpability decisions.

DPIA approach

ORVIA uses Data Protection Impact Assessments where processing may create elevated privacy risks. These are maintained as living governance records and reviewed when systems, processing or risk materially change.

Cyber Essentials

Working toward Cyber Essentials certification.

RECORDING, CONSENT & INFORMATION SHARING

Choice, purpose and lawful use come before convenience.

Recording, transcription, analysis, access and onward sharing are separate activities. Using one does not automatically authorise all the others.

No assumed consent

ORVIA does not assume consent simply because somebody uses a service. Where consent is relied upon, it must be meaningful for the specific purpose.

Separate purposes

Recording, transcription, analysis, access and onward sharing may involve different purposes, permissions and governance considerations.

Minimum necessary

Information should be limited to what is appropriate and necessary for the purpose and recipient, with confidentiality, capacity, safeguarding duties and individual rights considered.

Humans remain accountable

Technology may support capture, organisation and routing. Consequential decisions remain with accountable people and lawful authorities.

Consent to record a conversation is not automatically consent to share that recording everywhere. Read the privacy notice →

VERIFIED EXTERNAL TRUST

Independent signals, linked back to their source.

ORVIA separates verified external recognition from internal claims and does not alter third-party marks or badges.
